After taking the day off work today to rest, I headed to my parents house for some TLC and comfort food. Mum made my favourite healthy meal which gave me enough energy to go and do my daily Mount.
I managed a 3km loop walk around the lesser known Point View hills and was rewarded with a spectacular sundown view out to the Manukau Heads which actually made me feel better. This proves that excessive can be more beneficial for the mind than the body at times.
It was raining and dark but people with mental illness do not get a day off so neither should I
Tomorrow my plan is to do some interval training at Mt Wellington at 6pm. Come along after work if you want as I am now 14km behind schedule after the last two days and need to catch up. All abilities welcome and please bring $5 to go towards charity.
